The Training Team

Professional development at The Indian Public School is a system, not an event.

As Professional Development Coordinator I am part of the TIPS training team that runs whole-school training for 400+ staff, three times every year — May, September and December — across all four campuses. The team's job is to help each of them reach 50 hours of training in the year — planned, delivered, tracked, and reported on for impact. A usual cycle trains 400+ staff; the September 2026 cycle reached 480+, and the larger four-day May 2026 cycle had 600+ participants. The sessions below are the ones I designed, delivered, or co-delivered within that system, plus the exam-office and external training that sits alongside it.

75% of teachers reported a confidence gain and 57% gained two points or more. Behind the numbers is the data work the team does every cycle: training-hours dashboards per campus, a six-pillar classification of about 1,000 external trainings, and an impact model that ranks sessions by confidence gain and satisfaction. The six-pillar professional development framework and the trainer benefit policy are co-authored.
